Pastor Alfred and his wife Miriam Muthoni started Rivers Edge Church - Nairobi in November 2018 with 6 families, 13 children and a number of young adults after waiting on God for 2 years while they ran a bible study group. Originally from Kenya,  they have served in various church leadership and with Calvary Chapel churches in Kenya. Pastor Alfred has worked with directing the operations of Intensive Care Ministries-Kenya in training church leadership in Inductive Bible Study method for 7 years. He has also served with Firefighters for Christ ministries in filling up personal libraries for Pastors in the villages with Christ Study material resources. Alfred and Miriam are excited to continue their passion for Christ and His ministry to people beginning in Nairobi County through a Church that changes the way many people view the church of today. They are happily married and have 2 children.
